Legal Terms

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 9 October 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of MasnoonNikah.com, member accounts, matrimonial proposals, search and discovery tools, communications, support and other features that link to these Terms.

By creating an account, submitting a proposal or otherwise using Masnoon Nikah, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Current launch pricing: Masnoon Nikah is currently free during the launch phase. No monthly platform fee or launch-phase success fee is currently charged. Future fees, if activated, will apply only under the then-applicable terms and notice described below.

1. About Masnoon Nikah

Masnoon Nikah is an online matrimonial platform designed for adults genuinely seeking marriage. “Masnoon Nikah”, “we”, “us” and “our” in these Terms refer to the operator of the Masnoon Nikah online service under the Masnoon Nikah brand.

The service currently operates online through MasnoonNikah.com and does not represent itself as a public walk-in marriage-bureau office. Official service and support channels are published on the website, including the Contact page.

2. Matrimonial Purpose Only

Masnoon Nikah is intended for genuine matrimonial use. It must not be used for casual dating, hookups, sexual solicitation, entertainment, collecting contact details, unrelated commercial solicitation, harassment, fraud or other unlawful purposes.

3. Eligibility — Adults Only

You may create or be represented by a matrimonial proposal only if you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into the relevant arrangements.

  • Do not create a matrimonial proposal for a person under 18.
  • Do not misrepresent age or identity.
  • Do not allow an underage person to use an adult matrimonial account.
  • Do not use Masnoon Nikah for an unlawful purpose.

4. Family-Assisted Accounts and Proposals

Parents or family members may assist an eligible adult where the platform permits. The represented adult must remain eligible, the information must be materially accurate, and the family member must have appropriate authority or consent for actions taken on that person’s behalf.

Family assistance must not be used to impersonate someone, create a proposal without appropriate knowledge or consent, or make binding marriage commitments without authority.

5. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account to the extent reasonably within your control. Do not share passwords, PINs or one-time verification codes with other members.

You must provide reasonably accurate account information and keep material account details current where the platform allows updates.

You must also:

  • not create an account using another person’s identity without proper authority;
  • not provide false contact details to mislead the platform;
  • not operate multiple accounts to evade restrictions;
  • not sell, transfer or knowingly allow unauthorised use of your account; and
  • promptly change credentials and report suspected unauthorised access.

6. Accurate Matrimonial Information

You must not knowingly submit materially false, misleading or impersonating information. This includes information about identity, age, marital status, location, education, profession, family circumstances, photographs, religious information and other matters that could materially affect another person’s marriage decision.

Material facts must not be deliberately concealed or misrepresented. Masnoon Nikah does not decide every fact that must be disclosed in every marriage discussion. Before any final commitment, users and families remain responsible for appropriate discussion, independent verification and due diligence concerning facts that may materially affect the decision.

7. Proposal Review and Approval

Submitting a proposal does not guarantee approval or continued visibility. Masnoon Nikah may approve, request changes, keep pending, restrict, suspend, reject or remove a proposal where reasonably necessary to apply platform rules, address misuse or safety concerns, comply with legal requirements or protect the service.

8. “Admin Reviewed” Is Not “Fully Verified”

A proposal being reviewed or approved does not mean that Masnoon Nikah guarantees the person’s identity or every claim they make. Unless a particular fact is explicitly stated as verified through a defined verification process, users should independently verify material information before relying on it.

This can include, where relevant, identity, age, education, employment, income, nationality, immigration status, marital history, family background, religious claims, health, financial position, character and compatibility.

A review, management call or other verification step is limited to what was actually checked. It is not a guarantee of a person’s complete history, intentions, future conduct or character.

9. Search, Filters and Recommendations

Search results, filters, sorting and any automated recommendations are discovery tools only. They do not determine compatibility, approve a marriage or decide who anyone should marry.

10. Protected Information and Contact Details

Different information may have different visibility levels. Designated protected contact details are not intended for unrestricted public display and may be subject to login status, proposal status, permissions, privacy controls or other eligibility rules.

Once information is legitimately shared with another person, Masnoon Nikah cannot fully control screenshots, forwarding, copying or off-platform use. Users must not misuse, republish, sell or distribute another member’s private information.

Protected information includes private phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, family details, private photographs, chats and identity-related information. Matrimonial access to such information does not authorise publication, resale, blackmail, harassment, impersonation or use for unrelated purposes.

11. Communications and Conduct

Use available communication features respectfully and only for genuine matrimonial purposes. Harassment, threats, blackmail, explicit solicitation, hate, fraud, spam, repeated unwanted contact and attempts to obtain passwords or financial credentials are prohibited.

A person has the right to stop a matrimonial discussion. Repeated unwanted contact after a clear refusal may lead to restrictions or removal.

Private financial dealings between members: Masnoon Nikah is not a platform for member-to-member loans, investments or private money transfers. Treat requests for emergency loans, medical costs, visa fees, business investment, gift cards, cryptocurrency or bank transfers with serious caution and report suspicious requests.

12. Photos and Other User Content

You may upload or submit only content that you have the right to use. Do not upload another person’s photo, copyrighted content, unlawful material or intimate/private media without appropriate authority.

You retain ownership of your original content, but you grant Masnoon Nikah a limited licence to host, process, resize, display and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate the matrimonial service, apply your visibility settings, moderate content and maintain the platform.

Private photographs remain private. Authorised viewing does not give permission to republish, sell, upload elsewhere, blackmail with, harass through or use an image for impersonation. Serious misuse may result in immediate account removal and, where appropriate, legal action.

13. Reporting and Moderation

Members may report suspicious, inappropriate or prohibited activity. Reports must be made in good faith and must not be used to harass, retaliate against or deliberately make false allegations about another person.

Masnoon Nikah may review relevant account, proposal, communication or technical information where reasonably necessary to investigate a report or enforce platform rules.

14. Safety and Independent Due Diligence

Masnoon Nikah provides an online platform for discovering potential marriage proposals. No online matrimonial platform can eliminate every risk.

  • Verify identity and material background information independently.
  • Where appropriate, involve family members or trusted people.
  • Do not share passwords, bank PINs or verification codes.
  • Be cautious about requests for money, financial assistance or urgent transfers.
  • Do not make important decisions under pressure, threats or emotional manipulation.

See the Safety & Privacy Guide for practical guidance.

If you meet another member in person, use reasonable safety precautions, involve parents or trusted people where appropriate, and prefer a suitable public setting. For overseas proposals, independently verify identity, residence, employment and immigration-related claims and do not assume marriage guarantees a visa or relocation outcome.

General information provided by Masnoon Nikah is for awareness and platform guidance. It is not personalised legal advice, a religious fatwa, medical advice or financial advice. Seek an appropriate qualified professional where such advice is needed.

15. No Guarantee of a Match or Marriage

Masnoon Nikah does not guarantee that you will find a suitable proposal, that another user is compatible with you, that an engagement or nikah will occur, or that any relationship or marriage will succeed.

The final decision always belongs to the individuals and families involved.

16. Current Launch-Phase Pricing

At the time of this version of the Terms, the Masnoon Nikah launch phase is free:

  • Current monthly platform fee: Rs. 0.
  • Current launch-phase success fee: Rs. 0.

No monthly platform fee or success fee becomes payable merely because a user used Masnoon Nikah during a period in which that fee was not applicable.

17. Planned Future Pricing

Masnoon Nikah currently plans a future Pakistan pricing model that may include an initial Rs. 0 platform-fee period, a Rs. 300 monthly platform fee after that period, and a Rs. 12,000 one-time successful-marriage fee. These are planned future amounts and are not active launch-phase charges.

Before a future paid obligation applies, Masnoon Nikah will display or communicate the applicable amount, effective date, billing basis and material conditions in accordance with applicable law and the then-current platform terms.

18. Transition from Free to Paid Access

If Masnoon Nikah later activates paid access, transition rules for existing launch users may differ from rules for users joining after paid pricing begins. Existing users will be informed of materially different payment obligations before those obligations apply where required.

A free period will not silently be converted into a retroactive monthly charge for that past period.

19. Future Successful-Marriage Fee

A successful-marriage fee does not apply during the current launch phase. If such a fee is activated later, the applicable trigger, amount, effective date and any conditions will be stated in the then-current fee terms before the obligation applies.

Where express acceptance is required, a user who has not accepted the applicable successful-marriage fee terms will not be treated as having accepted them merely because they used the platform during an earlier free period.

Proposed definition if a future success fee is activated

If a future successful-marriage fee is activated, the applicable terms may define a successful marriage as a nikah or legal marriage between a Masnoon Nikah member and a person whose matrimonial introduction or initial connection was established through Masnoon Nikah. Merely viewing, liking or expressing interest in a proposal, exchanging contact details, holding an initial family discussion or meeting does not by itself constitute a successful marriage.

Off-platform communication

If a future successful-marriage fee has been validly activated and accepted, moving later communication to WhatsApp, telephone, email, social media, family discussions or in-person meetings will not by itself erase the fact that the original introduction came through Masnoon Nikah. Any such obligation will apply only to users and periods actually covered by accepted fee terms.

Acceptance record and any attribution period

Masnoon Nikah may require clear electronic acceptance before a future success fee applies and may record the member ID, amount, currency, date, time and version of the accepted terms. If a future fee uses an attribution period after account closure (for example, 12 months), that period and its evidence rules must be disclosed before acceptance. Use of the current free launch phase does not by itself create that future obligation.

20. Payments, Taxes and Processing Charges

If payments are introduced, the platform may use third-party payment providers. Any applicable taxes, payment-processing charges or additional amounts required by law should be disclosed where required. Masnoon Nikah does not need your bank password, bank PIN or secret verification code to record a legitimate payment.

Pay only through payment methods officially identified by Masnoon Nikah. Do not send a platform fee to an unknown person merely because they verbally claim to represent Masnoon Nikah. Any formally approved change, concession or correction to an accepted future fee should be recorded through official support channels.

21. Refunds and Cancellations

Because no launch-phase platform fee is currently charged, there is no current recurring launch subscription to cancel for fee-avoidance purposes. If paid plans are introduced, the applicable cancellation, refund and renewal rules will be shown in the paid terms presented at that time, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If paid fees are introduced, duplicate payments, clear technical charging errors, an incorrect amount charged by Masnoon Nikah, or refunds required by law may be reviewed under the then-applicable refund rules.

22. International Users and Regional Pricing

Pakistan pricing does not necessarily apply to every country. Masnoon Nikah may introduce regional pricing, payment methods or eligibility rules. Where a fee applies, the relevant amount should be shown before the commitment is accepted.

23. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information may be collected, used, shared, retained and protected. By using the service, you acknowledge that information will be handled as described there and under applicable law.

24. Account Suspension, Restriction and Removal

Masnoon Nikah may restrict or remove accounts, proposals or features where reasonably necessary for safety, security, fraud prevention, rule enforcement, legal compliance, non-payment of a valid future fee, repeated abuse or protection of users and the platform.

Where practical and appropriate, Masnoon Nikah may provide information about the reason for an action or a way to request review.

If you believe an account or proposal action resulted from a misunderstanding, you may contact support to request review. Masnoon Nikah may maintain its decision after considering the available information and is not required to disclose confidential moderation details where doing so would undermine privacy, safety or platform integrity.

25. Account and Proposal Deletion

Deletion may remove or anonymise information that is no longer reasonably needed, but certain limited information may be retained where necessary for legal obligations, fraud prevention, abuse investigations, dispute resolution, security, backups or protection of rights, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Closing or deleting an account does not automatically extinguish a payment obligation that had already become validly due under future fee terms that the user had clearly accepted. No such future obligation arises merely from using the current free launch phase.

26. Intellectual Property

Except for user-generated content and third-party materials, the Masnoon Nikah name, branding, original site design, platform software, text and other service materials are protected to the extent available under applicable law. Do not copy, scrape, reproduce or commercially exploit them without permission or another lawful basis.

27. Prohibited Technical Activity

You must not attempt to scrape protected proposal information, bypass access controls, probe or exploit vulnerabilities, interfere with the service, automate abusive activity, introduce malware, harvest contact details or gain unauthorised access to accounts or private information.

Prohibited activity also includes stealing or scraping member data for marketing, creating fake identities, using stolen photographs, blackmail, intentionally false reports, and attempts to bypass privacy, security or account restrictions.

28. Third-Party Services and Links

Masnoon Nikah may link to or rely on third-party services. We do not control independent third-party services and are not responsible for their separate terms, availability, security or privacy practices.

29. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to operate the platform reliably, but continuous or error-free availability is not guaranteed. Features may be updated, maintained, restricted, added, changed or discontinued for security, operational, product or legal reasons.

Masnoon Nikah may introduce additional services in the future. Materially different services may have separate eligibility rules, terms or fees that will be presented as appropriate before those services are used.

30. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Masnoon Nikah does not guarantee member honesty, accuracy of user-generated information, compatibility, availability of a suitable proposal, off-platform behaviour, marriage outcome or uninterrupted technical availability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or responsibility that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.

31. Limitation of Responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Masnoon Nikah is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from another user’s false statement, a private decision between users, off-platform communication, an unauthorised third-party action, a user’s failure to perform reasonable verification, a relationship or marriage outcome, or a third-party service outside Masnoon Nikah’s reasonable control.

This does not exclude liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded, including responsibility for Masnoon Nikah’s own conduct where the law provides otherwise.

32. Your Responsibility for Misuse

You are responsible for your unlawful or prohibited use of the platform. If your conduct causes harm, legal claims or losses because you committed fraud, impersonated another person, misused private data, submitted unlawful content or deliberately violated another person’s rights, you may be responsible to the extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, if your unlawful conduct, fraud, impersonation, misuse of private data or serious breach of these Terms causes a claim or loss against Masnoon Nikah, its operator, staff or a third party, you may be responsible for the resulting loss or claim to the extent legally attributable to your conduct.

33. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when reasonably necessary because of platform changes, safety improvements, pricing, legal requirements or business operations. The updated page will show a revised “Last updated” date.

Where a change materially affects existing users or creates a new payment obligation, additional notice or renewed acceptance may be required where appropriate.

34. Electronic Communications

Relevant account, proposal, moderation, security, support, pricing and terms notices may be provided electronically where appropriate. Keep your relevant account contact information reasonably current.

35. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Pakistan, except where mandatory law applicable to a particular user requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove a consumer or other legal right that cannot lawfully be waived.

36. Resolving Disputes

If you have a disagreement about an account, proposal, moderation action, privacy issue, payment or other contractual matter, please contact Masnoon Nikah first through the official Contact page and provide enough information for the matter to be reviewed.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue available remedies before a court or other competent authority with jurisdiction under applicable law.

37. Severability and No Waiver

If a competent authority finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent legally possible. Failure to immediately enforce a provision does not automatically mean it has been permanently waived.

If Masnoon Nikah does not immediately enforce a provision or act on a particular violation, that delay does not by itself mean the relevant contractual or legal right has been permanently waived.

38. Entire Agreement

These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any specific additional terms expressly accepted for a particular feature or future paid service form the agreement governing that use. Where properly presented specific terms conflict with these general Terms, the more specific terms apply to that feature or transaction to the extent stated and permitted by law.

The Privacy Policy, Safety & Privacy Guide and any specifically accepted future fee terms form important parts of the rules governing the relevant use of the service.

39. English and Urdu Versions

Masnoon Nikah may provide these Terms in English and Urdu for accessibility. Both versions should communicate the same substantive rules. In the event of a material inconsistency caused solely by translation, the English version will control to the extent permitted by applicable law.

40. Contact

Questions about these Terms, an account, privacy, platform rules or future payment obligations should be sent through the official Masnoon Nikah Contact page.

Do not send passwords, PINs, one-time verification codes, banking credentials or unnecessary identity documents through a general support enquiry.
